It is formally known as a levitating wireless computer mouse and left to its own devices will float 40mm above its base.
As well as looking ultra stylish the device, called the Bat, is said to be particularly useful for those who suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome, which can lead to numbness, tingling, weakness, or muscle damage in the hand and fingers.
The device has been created by Prague-based design studio, Kibardindesign, and includes a mouse pad and mouse with a magnetic ring, which allows it to float in mid-air.
The mouse hovers at a height of 40mm on its own or 10mm beneath the weight of your hand when in use.
However you can’t rush out and buy one just yet…the product is still in the market research and testing phase and there is not currently any price information on the new hovering bat mouse.
