Streaming movie service Netflix has lost the rights to show nearly 2,ooo films as rights deals with Warner Brothers, MGM and Universal come to an end.
A total of 1,794 films have disappeared from their catalog as the film companies move their products to new site Warner Archive Instant.
This means that Netflix users will no longer have access to many popular films including the James Bond collection owned by MGM, teen drama Cruel Intentions and the action film Deep Impact.
James Bond classics like Dr. No, Goldfinger, Octopussy, You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me and Live and Let Die will no longer be available to Netflix users.
Last year Netflix lost a streaming deal with the Starz network where the rights to show 1,000 titles, including Toy Story, Teen Wolf and JFK, were lost.
