Social video platform Spreecast has launched an iPhone app and now offers live streaming via mobile web.
With Spreecast users can broadcast live streaming video together, interact with each other and enable viewers to join in on the broadcast as well.
It launched in September 2011 and has rapidly grown in popularity since then.
With the Spreecast iPhone app you can:
- Watch live and archived spreecasts on your iPhone
- Participate using Chat and Submit Question features
- Get your favorite spreecast content, like The Wall Street Journal, LA Times, ABC and Extra TV on the go
- Share spreecasts with friends on Facebook and Twitter
Spreecast said on its blog: “Our Android and tablet apps are on the way. In the meantime, you can view live and archived spreecasts in your mobile browser on Android, tablet and iOS.
“Future versions of the app will include the ability to broadcast directly from your built-in camera phone. Stay tuned for updates.
“We want to thank our amazing community for growing with us this past year and a half. Spreecast continues to evolve with your feedback and support. Thanks to you, we are one step closer to our goal of connecting people through conversation.”
